). SRM are 2023 cup champions!!!
Ruben Phelps showed that Kiwi’s dont drive fast, they fly low!!! walking away comfortably with not only the series Championship but also taking home ASCC’s illustrious Triple crown Championship trophy back across the pond to the south island. Matty Ray tried to keep up finishing 2nd in championship points, 2nd (again to Ruby) in Triple Crown & picking up a 1-2-3 with Rubes n Locky at Talladega’s super hero round. Brenton Henderson finish an impressive 7th in points picking up his first pole position & 14 top 10’s from only 26 starts!. Jake Saddington’s Rookie season exploded when he won a thrilling finish to ASCC’s ANZAC Cup at Talladega giving him a nice shiny bit of hardware to drink from finishing 18th in series points. Lachlan Urquijo stayed true to his strong form being able to make a limited amount of races (16) finding 5 Top 5’s & 8 Top 10’s (50%) aswell as Noddy Tompkins & Russell Bratka due to health (Noddy) & living on the other side of the world (Russ) able to make very limited starts picking up another 1 Top 5 & 6 Top 10’s between the pair.
2023 has hands down been SRM’s best year to date and it owed all to these legends listed above aswell every supporter/sponsor/friend involved with this team, Thank you and congrats drivers theres some very impressive feats there.
